Cement Candle Holders

Make your own Shabbat candle holders with cement!
This craft is part of the Shabbox. Order the Shabbox and we'll provide you with everything you need to make this craft and more!
For this craft you will need:
- Gloves
- Cement (not concrete) We used this
you need 5 parts cement to 2 parts water
- A container for mixing the cement
- 2 plastic or paper cups
- Water (2 parts to 5 parts cement plus a little extra in case you need to smooth the mixture)
- Tea lights or taper candles
- Metallic paint markers. (We used these.)
- Something disposable to mix like a plastic knife or wooden skewer
- Optional cooking spray or oil
- Optional sanding sponge. (Like this.)
