Ingredients

  • Leftover deli meat (turkey, pastrami, salami, or whatever you have)
  • Puff pastry dough, thawed
  • Yellow mustard

  • Honey
  • Ketchup
  • Duck sauce, for brushing

Instructions

  1. Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface.
  2. Spread a thin layer of Dijon mustard.
  3. Drizzle with honey and add the first layer of deli meat.
  4. Spread yellow mustard and add a second layer of meat.
  5. Top with ketchup and the final deli layer.
  6. Roll up tightly and slice into rounds.
  7. Place on a cookie sheet, or in muffin tins for a better shape.
  8. Brush with duck sauce.
  9. Bake at 375°F for about 30 minutes, until golden brown and flaky.
  10. Tip: whenever you have leftover deli meat, freeze it, then defrost when you are ready to make a batch.

Perfect for Shabbat lunch, game day, or any time a snack tray is required.
