Maple Wine Glazed Roast

Ingredients

  • Quality cut of meat
  • Olive oil
  • Garlic salt
  • Black peppercorns
  • Bone Suckin' Sauce seasoning and rub

For the Maple Wine Glaze

  • 1 cup real maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup Merlot or other dry red wine
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  2. Rub the meat with olive oil, then season generously with garlic salt, freshly cracked black pepper, and the Bone Suckin' Sauce rub.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, wine, ketchup, and Dijon mustard until well combined.
  4. Place the seasoned meat in a roasting pan.
  5. Pour the maple wine glaze evenly over the meat.
  6. Cook uncovered for approximately 15 to 20 minutes per pound, or until the meat reaches your desired doneness.
  7. Baste occasionally with the pan juices.
  8. Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
