TIKUN
TIKUN
TIKUN is dedicated to empowering Jewish families to embrace the spirit of kindness and pass it on to the next generation. Our approach goes beyond traditional volunteering by empowering families to foster a deep connection to their Jewish heritage while taking ownership of meaningful projects that will impact the lives of those in need.
Frequently asked questions
How many sessions are there and how long are they? There are 3 sessions that last 2 hours each.
When are the sessions? We will assign you to a Tikun Team based on your availability and the age of your children. After you submit your available dates we will contact you once you are placed in a Tikun Team with the dates of your 3 sessions.
Can I make my own Tikun Team with friends or family? No. We believe that a great TIKUN team is built on diversity, which is best achieved when participating families do not know each other before the program.
What is the cost? The total cost per family is $360. The Tikun Team is responsible to cover or raise the funds to carry out whatever program you design.
Will the project be conducted during the 3 sessions? No — after the 3 sessions, you will leave with a blueprint to create a prototype that you can share with community partners for support in carrying out your project. Your coach will stay connected to offer support to ensure your project is successfully executed.
